The Zero-Retention Guarantee
**We do not save, archive, or share the images or the resulting text** you upload. Your file is processed immediately and permanently deleted from our servers as soon as the text extraction is complete.
1. Information We Collect (Minimal)
We only collect anonymized data necessary for service operation and performance analysis:
- **Usage Data:** General metrics like time of use, browser type, and extraction success rate. This helps us maintain server health and stability (e.g., preventing 503 errors).
- **Non-Retention of Content:** The image itself is converted to a base64 string and passed temporarily to the AI provider (Gemini API) for processing only. Neither we nor the API provider retain the image or the extracted text afterward.
2. Data Security
All data transmitted between your browser and our service is protected using **HTTPS/SSL encryption**. Because we adhere to a strict zero-retention policy, the risk of data compromise concerning your documents is fundamentally minimized.
3. Cookies
We use essential, minimal cookies necessary for core website functionality. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or deploy any cookies for targeted advertising or user profiling.
